NIGP: The Institute for Public Procurement and the UK Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) recently announced the release of four additional global public procurement practices.  As part of a larger shared initiative to define and formalize global professional standards for government procurement officials, the release of these practices brings to 14 the body of standard references that provide high-level guidance across government procurement activities.

The four practices provide direction in these subject areas: Lease-Purchase Decision; Specifications; Spend Analysis; Sustainable Procurement Practice.
